Whalebone

	Whalebone Twist
	I am offering a hook made from whalebone. This particular bone was found in the Columbia River Gorge where it had been buried for a couple of centuries. I was fortunate enough to obtain a small amount of this rib bone. The hook is 4.25 inches long and is a size C (2.75mm). A spiral travels from about the midpoint of the hook's shaft and it topped by a knob with a spiral cap. A dainty hook in its appearance.
